The Metacil Light is now available in a click-top! The body is made of plastic to keep it light and inexpensive, and the tip is a special alloy that contains graphite. The particles of graphite and alloy produced by friction with the paper adhere to the paper to create handwriting. Remarkably less abrasion on the core allows for long writing (16 kilometers!) without sharpening. The Metacil can be erased like a regular pencil!
This space-aged tip is somewhat fragile, so treat it carefully to avoid chipping. However, you can refill this Metacil with the Metacil Light Refill!
