The CR02 is the slimmer sibling in OHTO's CR (Ceramic Roller) line — a successor to the CR01, refined into a sleeker, more streamlined shape. It keeps the same well-balanced, reassuringly weighty feel in a slimmer profile, making it a natural fit for a planner or notebook pen loop as well as everyday carry. The matte aluminum body offers a cool, secure grip, and the cap snaps on firmly so it won't come loose in your bag or pocket. Available in four colorways: Matte Black, Matte Silver, Matte Wine, and Matte Blue.
Designed and assembled in-house at OHTO's Yuki Plant in Japan, the CR01 is built to last. A secure snap cap closes with a firm, reassuring click, the metal clip has just the right amount of flex, and a rubberized grip section keeps writing comfortable during long sessions.
At the tip is a 0.5mm silicon carbide ceramic ball, paired with OHTO's non-dry C-305 refill — so it resists drying out even when left uncapped. The ceramic point gives a writing feel with just the right amount of feedback, not too smooth and not too scratchy, and holds up to far more wear than a standard metal tip. The pen is fully refillable and also accepts other popular rollerball refills, so you're never locked into one brand.
